We will discuss where the wine blogging community is today in terms of numbers, influence, and stature. We'll also discuss where we think it is going and how we might affect the future of our community.

We will discuss how wine bloggers can and do interact with the wine industry. Should you as a blogger solicit samples and invitations to events? Are wineries treating you more or less like the mainstream wine press now?

Are you interacting at all with other bloggers or other industries? Do you write wine and food pairing posts, have food bloggers write guests posts, or converse with beer bloggers in your area? This conversation will revolve about whether and how these interactions could take place.

Without having any experts present on the subject, we'll share our own experiences. Are your fellow bloggers finding something that works you might not have tried?
